Long time shopper of Aldi - but not this branch - felt compelled to inform mgt of very lucklustre staff in self checkout today - my machine was obviously faulty as kept not registering weight of my own bags - called attendant 4 times as I could not progress - staff were not smiling not even talking - it was like they were robots …… I suggested after my transaction to close my machine down to get serviced ( that was how bad it was !) - to no comment by 2 different staff members - not customer service orientated at all - this Aldi did not seem as organised as others in area & was “ messy “ - not up to Aldi’s usual standards - staff need further training !

The lovely lady on register 1 around lunchtime yesterday was, as always, a delight to be served by. I can't say the same thing about the other staff members, though I do understand that they are now in a difficult position, due to the installation of the self service option. There were several people in the queue for register 1, who clearly prefer, and choosing to patiently wait to be served by a human. 2 people, after being coerced, reluctantly used the undesired, self service option. After a considerable wait, and several requests, register 2 was finally opened. Most of your customers would prefer real customer service.

Seven Hill Aldi - located in Eastern end of centre, next to cashless Laundromat (nice suprise). Side entrance of 7 Hills Hotel. Google maps puts you on entry as if you can walk in from main Rd (obviously no parking) go down turn left (Stop sign) and carpark is SECOND left, not first (make sure u miss the island in middle, unlike the author). Walk length of verandah, go in McDonald's sign entry.

This is one Aldi I regularly visit, they have all the normal items from vegetables to specialty products. In most cases they are cheaper than Woolworths. If you need to get something you can't find in store, most cases you ask the staff and they can help you out. There's always the Wednesday specials that come up as well, if theres a special item that comes up every man and his dog will be there early as possible. ALDI, in Blacktown Westpoint Centre is a very familiar store to me. I very often frequent this establishment for essential items to maintain my frugal life style. Over the years that I have been going there I have sometimes encountered mistakes in my receipts after purchasing products. Sometimes I have returned to the store to rectify the problem and other times I have not. It is embarrassing for me to point out their mistakes sometimes and I do not like doing it. But since I never buy too much the mistake is worth the effort. I really like ALDI for inexpensive goods but if only they could get their scanning and receipts right I would enjoy the visits to this shop far more. " What else can a poor boy do ?" Hopelessly hoping things may improve. Bye for now, I will try and persist.

I had a terrible experience at Aldi Seven Hills on 22 July 2023. My partner and I saw a pallet of raw chicken left outside the fridge for at least 20 minutes. When I told an employee, he didn’t seem to care and said someone else was supposed to put it away. This is unacceptable and dangerous for food safety. Aldi needs to train their staff better and respect their customers’ health. I will not be shopping here again.
